Services

Stark Narrative signifies distinctive communications.

The firm specializes in providing PR services for clients active within the parameters of three pillars: investments,  legal services and IT services & information security.

Within the investments pillar we work for asset managers, institutional pensions, private equity, private banking and research providers. Our clients within the legal services pillar consist predominantly of global law firms as well as domestic boutiques seeking reputation management on a retained basis or to accompany a specific dispute (litigation PR); and within the IT services & information security pillar, we work for companies providing IT services and solutions in the broadest sense, as well as for companies specializing in cybersecurity for businesses.

From our head office in Amsterdam, we achieve cohesive results throughout the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.  Although we remain market focused, we maintain a global mindset. Collectively, our professional prowess extends to markets throughout Europe, Latin America, North America, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Strategic communications

We work with companies seeking long-term, retained PR counsel, as well as those seeking support on a project basis. From core messaging and campaign development to event management, a multidisciplinary approach is taken in order to holistically shape a public image.

We believe that data and analytics are essential factors for every strategic equation. We therefore utilize our expertise in bespoke research projects for companies and investment firms seeking market analysis, communications audits, perception studies and competitor benchmarking.

Litigation PR

Stark Narrative provides specialised support to parties who are involved in litigation proceedings. From the outset of a dispute, it is best practice for both claimants and defendants to implent a strategic communications plan.

Due to its favourable legislative landscape related to litigation, an increasing number of disputes are currently taking place in the Dutch judicial system. More specifically, the Wet afwikkeling massaschade in collectieve actie (WAMCA) or Settlement of mass damages in collective action Act has been a true catalyst in the market for class actions since 2020.

In the Netherlands, we see the growing need for sophisticated public relations and communications tactics to accompany class action litigation. We support clients by engaging with the media, public and other stakeholders to ensure that an entity’s narratives are promoted and protected.

Additionally, due to our place within the Mirovia network, we are well equipped to collaborate on cross-border cases with an international scope.

Media Relations

Facilitation of media relations is part and parcel of comprehensive PR engagement. This entails building long-term beneficial relationships with relevant and influential journalists, editors and correspondents. It is integral when attempting to effectively maximize, minimize – or simply manage – media exposure.

Content creation

Copywriting and content creation are key capabilities delivered by our team. This encompasses projects in digital messaging and marketing support. Where required, we work with trusted partners to deliver fully integrated projects that include design and social.

Launches

A successful launch campaign for any brand or product requires a bespoke communications strategy. This entails identifying a relevant media universe, drafting and distributing official press materials, arranging media interviews, and organising events.

Training

Training modules guide professionals on how to deliver concise, well-crafted messages.  Professionals are prepared for interaction with media during: interviews, presentations, roadshows and conferences. Individuals learn how to anticipate difficult scenarios and how to bend the conversation in their favor. Hands-on exercises and simulations are used to address organization-specific issues.

Issues management

Companies are defined by how they react in a crisis. Speed, candor and carefully considered messaging are key elements which can make or break a corporate reputation. We have experience working with entities during periods of extreme corporate stress and negative publicity. Training modules are available for corporates that want to plan for potential crises.
