In Memoriam – Marguerite van der Heijden

On 28 April, we paid our last respects and said farewell to our colleague Marguerite Van Der Heijden.

She fought an unfair battle with an unexpected, yet equally unfair ending – the complete opposite of what we had been hoping for: for her to return to the team sometime during the second half of 2026.

A positive force in our line of work, and a supportive, kind colleague who understood what it takes to be a team player. That is who she was, and we will miss her dearly.

The Starkies express gratitude for the sympathy and support received during this difficult time.

We will honor Mar’s memory by tirelessly continuing to do what we do best.

Because the only way to keep people alive is to remember them. To speak of them. To hold their stories close.
